ABOUT
Growing up in Birmingham, England, I was drawn to music from an early age, first experimenting with piano before discovering my true passion for the guitar. By my mid teens, I was actively performing in Birminghams's thriving live music scene, playing in various bands across multiple genres — from rock and pop to funk and jazz. Whether on stage or in the studio, music became a defining part of my life.
In an era before digital streaming and social media, recording music was a very different experience, but I embraced every opportunity to refine my craft. Over the years, I gained invaluable experience in songwriting, performing, and recording — skills that have stayed with me throughout my musical journey.
After a hiatus to focus on my family, I found my way back to music, reigniting my passion for composition and production. With a dedicated recording space and fresh inspiration, I began creating and releasing new material, reconnecting with the joy of making music. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter—one I plan to continue for years to come.

Disclaimers
My name is fairly unique, but there is a bass guitarist with the name 'Martin Packwood' who was active in the 1980s in a punk group called 'Bron Area'.
Separately, there is one track ' Cartelizes Losel' on a compilation album 'Dive Awakening Vol. 4' released around 2018 that is credited to a 'Martin Packwood'.
Both come up in searches sometimes, and neither are anything to do with me!
